This is an EPIC release! Cant thank you enough Xpenguin..Eagerly awaiting the remaining seasons..Please don't give up on it..
Very good quality !
These are MKVs (AVC,AAC,subs) averaging 40MB. For some reason, the resolution varies: 512x384, 544x416, 576x432, 640x360. Very good Q.

Seasons 5+ are available at 16:9 from others: http://piratebayproxy.live/torrent/9078848/South_Park_Complete_Season_1-16_420p_720p_TinyMP4_
@NomoreAVI
The reason resolution varies is because the goal was a fixed filesize to make them the same size as the once-popular .RM files which were about 36MB each. Fixed resolution means a variable filesize, fixed filesize means variable resolution. A fixed resolution AND filesize means variable quality.

I'm not aware of seasons below 9 existing in HD but if I come across such I shall update this torrent. I have released seasons 9-16 in HD in another torrent.

I haven't checked the torrent you posted out but I suspect if it's 16:9 but not HD then it's a crop job which everyone should avoid.

Yo Xpenguin! I love your 3 South Park torrents. Very nice quality. I have a question, though.

I came across this:
http://piratebayproxy.live/torrent/8268068/South_Park__Season_8_%282004%29_%5BiTunes_1080p_Widescreen%5D

Is that upscaled? It is overall better than your version of S8?
Only way to find out is to download one episode and see. A few S8 episodes in HD did exist at the time I started working on this torrent but they were crappy TV rips so I didn't include them.
Ok Mr. Penguin, I'm going to download the first episode of thta torrent and try to compare 'em both.
Mr. Penguin, I think the quality of the other S8 torrent is higher than yours. It does look like a TV-rip (it has the opening animation plus a Comedy Central banner). It is widescreen but doesn't look like an upscale. Overall it has a very "clean" and nice aspect. Don't know if it's censored, though, or if it differs greatly from your version.
Sorry for the bad english, it's not my first language.
Thanks for the information. Unfortunately I don't do TV captures so I won't be releasing Season 8 in HD until Blu-rays are available or another high quality source.
I agree they are better quality than my DVD-sourced episodes for now though so use whatever works by all means. But as an encoder, I can't do TV rips for technical reasons.

Don't worry about your English, I don't speak it as a first language either.
'Aight Mr Penguin, I'm still sticking with your all your SP torrents plus that HD S8. Thanks again for your great work and assistance.
